After 4 years and a few months I felt it was time to change the design of my website and to switch to a new visual approach. The content on my blog will change slightly in future and the accompanying visual material will be more emphasized.

Key features:

• Color Adjustments: the colors of this site changes to match the uploaded picture. I found this functionality on the monotone theme for wordpress and adjusted it to my design.
• Progressive Enhancements: this site is using CSS3 elements (e.g. rounded corners, gradients, button hover states, etc.) that will show the full design in newer browser only (e.g. Safari 5.0, FireFox 3.6, IE9, etc.). The reason is to avoid unnecessary code and graphics to form the design.

And the first post is accompanied by a picture of New York. Why? Because I ❤ New York.
