Bad news? A registered letter…

A few days ago I canceled my iPhone contract with T-Mobile. I sent out a registered letter to make sure that my cancelation will be verified. So my idea of a registered letter was always connected to bad news. Probably not bad for the sender but at least for the receiver.

Yesterday I had a notice in my mail box to pick up a registered letter by myself. I was wondering if I did something wrong that someone felt like I should receive a very important letter. However, I was truly expecting bad news.

So today I went to the post office expecting a law suite. Did I insult someone who felt like suing me? Did I forgot to pay a bill? Was something wrong with my legal notice on my website (we have very strange regulations and laws regarding legal notices on websites here in Germany)?

There was nothing that I felt was wrong. And when I picked up the registered letter, the law suite turned out the be my master’s degree.

Now it’s officially proved and the work of the last two years has been awarded with an MA Digital Arts degree.
